Bonnie Stern

Director, Digital Mastering, Universal Studios Digital Services

Bonnie Stern was promoted to Director of Digital Mastering in 2005. Her current responsibilities include supervising the Feature and TV Mastering team which handles “A” title finishing, library feature re-mastering, new season TV mastering and library TV re-mastering. In her current role, Stern is responsible for the Quality Control operation in addition to the mastering group and oversees a staff of 42 employees.

Stern has been with Universal for 11 years. She previously acted as Manager and then Director of the mastering unit for Universal Technical Services where she was responsible for all aspects of “A” title and library feature and television mastering. During her time as Director, Stern has earned her Six Sigma Green Belt and attended Inclusive Leadership Workshop, CAP - Change Acceleration Coaching and BELS -Building Essential Leadership Skills courses.

Prior to NBC Universal, Stern worked as an Account Executive for Anderson Video’s Production Operations. Stern received her Bachelors degree in Mass Communication at Emerson College in Boston, MA.
