Independent filmmakers are welcome at Universal Studios.  Our world class production and post production services accommodate all types of independent projects including features, shorts, television, commercials, and new media.  With our resources and depth of talent, we can tailor packages to meet the creative and budget needs of any production.

Universal Studios has a strong tradition of supporting the independent film community through organizations like Film Independent, Women in Film, NYU Tisch, Association of Independent Commercial Producers and a variety of international groups.  The company is an official sponsor of the Sundance Film Festival along with the Telluride, Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Los Angeles film festivals.
