Joseph Carrillo

Manager of Sitcom Services
Joseph Carrillo began work at Digital Sound and Picture and became involved in the world of audio post production. Following his time at Digital Sound and Picture he moved out to the CBS Studio Center, where he served as the assistant to Roy Gilbert, the head of half-hour television and sitcoms, and Kirsten Smith, the manager of the scoring stage.
Gilbert and the seven-person crew moved to Universal in 2005, and Carrillo took over management of the department in 2006 with Larry Ellena. It has since expanded to embrace the changing business.
In his spare time he plays and writes music. He has composed scores for several short films and webisodes, including the popular Lost Parodies, which has been featured several times on YouTube. Last year, he scored his first feature The Hanged Man, which is in the process of being sold.
